Does anyone run the eq client on LINUX?

I've tried running the everquest client through wine but when I try to log into anyone's server it crashes with a generic error after loading. If there's anybody who has gotten eq to run on linux, I'd love to know what you did to get it working.

TO BE CLEAR: I am talking about the client running on linux, NOT the server.
