Hello again,
1. Make sure you are also running a clean titanium install on the laptop.
2. Right click EQGAME.EXE and change it to compatibility mode XPSp2
3. Make sure the account table has the exact ip address (assuming you are using minilogon)
4. Check World.exe window for errors, you'll get an error message like Client ID is 0 Is this server connected to minilogin blah blah. That's a sign that you've got incorrect information in the account table in the database.
5. Also I had to tinkered with the eqclient.ini file to get my resolution scaled correctly to windowed mode and an appropriate resolution.
