well.. i've been playing in Zeb custom server and trying to get myself an epic 2.0 LOL......

actually i'm going to get booed by a lot of PEQ fans here (i'm a PEQer too), but Zeb has done quite a good work on this one chain quest involving you (and a friend or two) going thru the planar progression and seeing all the contents that you may have missed, including battling one on one with sol ro, terris thule, MB, and quarm lol..

i made a char on Zeb and one on Storm Haven but.. imho nothing beats the PEQ server.. why ? well its simple PEQ is everquest no more no less in my eyes :P and after not playing EQ for 3years+ when i came to PEQ with all my nubby quistions ^.^ noone complained infact 30% of the people even offerd me free armor /weps!! you can not beat such a great server with a grand community like it has built up.. you just cant!... >.> and on a side note THE ONLY good thing thats come of PEQ being down is me having the time to go get laid ROFL!

Correct me if I'm wrong, but my understanding is that Jibbatwinker ran Zeb about a year and some change ago, then someone else took it over and sorta messed it up, and now it's run by yet someone else?

Back in the day, I did really dig the PoP progression quests with the back/secondary shields, and the custom epic quests. All my chars got wiped though so I haven't really been on Zeb much.

What I guess I'm getting at: is it about as fun as when Jib ran it? Or did you play then?

from what I know Jib stil runs it now - been so for last 6 month or so =)
