Thanks Chaos, that sounds like a good work around. As it is, it would not pay to create a non server-standard class or race on my server since there is no player spell casting on my server and since I have already limited the races and classes that can loot certain key items in the DB. But I wanted to force the issue at the character-creation screen since there is really no way to tell a player what the limitations are until after he's created the character. However, no real harm done since I can announce that little fact through certain npcs in the tutorial. That way, he's not wasting any time with the new character.
