Talking The perfect world

This is just my 2 cents of a server design that would make everyone's day.

I think someone should design a custom item's database server with custom Gear quests for certain levels (20, 40, 60, 75) no custom spells keep that eq like along with Zones too.

I think it should have bots to. Get rid of the raid system for bots but instead fix the raid system for players and let each player have up to 1 group of bots per player. (This means 7 real players = 7 full groups which in live is a real raid!, making it so you can change the raid boss's stats back to normal)

I also loved the raid addicts quest setup (the quest viewer is awesome).

Tone down the exp rate. The reason so many people played eq live for so long was because they had to. 2x exp is fine, 3x AA is fine. Add some nice quest exp and give EverQUESTS name a meaning.

The #zone function, and custom teleport takes away from the epicness of the world.

Its all about making the game playable and fun, and if you loose track of that like Soe did then you make the game feel dull like a bad repetitive job. So make the storyline through levels and quests long and not the drop rate impossible. Add some comedy to the Npc communications and make the world fun.
