I am pretty sure this has to do with the MSH data.  I forget what it is exactly, but think it was using an invalid value for the lucin hairstyle.   I have seen several skeletons with hair!  But not just hair, but hair 2x in size and floating above the skellies head 
Anyhow, there is a fix, it is just rather time consumoing, and tedious.  With drawde's 1.0 beta out, I 
might try and get the MSH data updated so that it works corectly with it...  But I am still finishing up something else ATM.
