Post Guide: Build 1129 Rev 222 EQEmu setup guide for Windows

Well for me the best way to get familiar with a product is to teach it to someone else. So in that respect here is a guide that goes through how to get a working server under windows.

http://www.mattandwell.net/tutorials...rquest)_Server

Please note I didn't explore every single option in the guide, and I'm trying to keep it simple.

Anyway I hope this helps out some of us newer guys, and if this guide becomes outdated like the rest.. sorry !!

cheers

Nice looking guide! I am sure people will find it useful, considering alot has changed since the last guide was made. One suggestion I have is that it would be good if that was in the emulator wiki pages so that all emu info stays in 1 place and is easier to find when people look through the wiki here.

It could probably be linked from the server admin page:

Done.

The way the wiki auto creates links is pretty cool, I gotta figure out how to do that for mediawiki lol.
