New titanium install - black window?

I just installed a fresh copy of EQ Titanium. I changed the two things needed: shortcut to eqgame" patchme and the eqhost file changed too. When I try to start up EQ I get a message about it wanting me to update the drivers on my nVidia 7600 card to 81.85? Those are much older than the 181.20 I am using. Then when I click to continue anyway, I get a black box and it tells me that eqgame.exe has encountered an error and it shuts down.

A couple things. I use a widescreen monitor set at 1920 x 1200. Do I need to drop the screen resolution before I try to start EQ? If so, what do I set it to?

Also, I have a Dlink router (pretty new one). Is it necessary to forward any ports typically?

Any help would be appreciated.

Well, I just tried dropping my resolution down to 1024 x 768 and it worked!! Trying to log in now to a server! WOOT!

By the way - what resolution is the highest it will take?
