Try opening a notepad window and then adding this text into the window:

Then, save that file to your EQ directory as "createhost.bat". To make sure you save it properly, in notepad, click "File", then "Save As...", then paste "createhost.bat" into the filename field. Then, it is very important to make sure that you set the "Save as type:" dropdown field to "All Files". Make sure you are in your EQ folder and then just click "Save". Then, you just need to find that file and double click it to run it. That will overwrite your existing eqhost.txt file if you have one, or create a new one if you do not have one already. It might be a bit more complex than the easy way of doing it, but following these instructions should get it working without any further problems.
