I have related question.

I am looking at proc rules in DB and trying to understand BETTER how they suppose to work:

Combat:BaseProcChance - ok this one i understand

Combat:AdjustProcPerMinute - ok its on/off rule, i got it

but the rest:

Combat:AvgProcsPerMinute - not very clear to me
Combat:ProcPerMinDexContrib - ummm?
Combat:ProcDexDivideBy - ummm???

could someone please explain?

Let me start off by saying that I don't know for sure about any of this but this is how I interpret it to work.

Combat:AvgProcsPerMinute - is exactly what it says, by default it is set to 18 I believe so I will use that...say that your weapon procs 90 times over a five minute period during a long fight. 90/5 = 18 which is the average proc rate per minute over that specific five minute time frame. With the key word being average, your actual proc rate over one minute might be 23 times and the next minute might be 13 but thats why it is an average.

Combat:ProcPerMinDexContrib - Dex is one of the contributing factors to a weapons proc rate. I think this value is actually a percentage of 100 used in the calculation of weapon procs. So if I used the value .075 then the contributing dex factor on weapon procs would be around 7.5%. This is all based around that one minute time frame.

Combat:ProcDexDivideBy - Not real sure about this one either. If I were to guess I would say it is to get the actual dex modifier in the weapon proc calculation.
