dyndns is a site you go to, to setup a dns record for other people to resolve to your server (IE www.yourserver.dyndns.com, instead of your outside IP address). they have an app on thier website that will automatically update your ip address to your record. it just makes it easier to keep a dynamic ip address updated, so you don't have to do it manually. its free unless you want your own custom dns name.
