Post Unable to connect

I have tried on two different accounts now, and both result in the same message:

Logging into the server. Please wait...

Also, I know this is a little off-topic, but does it matter if you have more recent expansions installed than SoF or Titanium?

It does. To connect you must have a freshly installed, unpatched version of Titanium, SoF, or SoD. I believe Underfoot may be supported someday as well, but I don't know if it is right now.

You'll need to uninstall whatever version you might have, and go pick up the SOF disks. You can still guy them from Amazon. http://www.amazon.com/EverQuest-Secr...6674023&sr=8-1

And I'd rather not uninstall anything seeing as my characters are on my Sony EQ account, and then I wouldn't be able to play that ~_~

One good thing about the way Everquest is installed is that you can copy the entire directory somewhere else and play it from there and then uninstall the game. Then you can install just the SoF client and not patch it... that will leave you with two separate copies of the game and you'll just need to setup two separate shortcuts to them. If you're struggling with this piece which is really the simplest part, you might be better off sticking with live :(

My recommendation? Tell your parents that you want the version from amazon that I showed you and tell them it will help cut down on patching time or something like that. Install that copy and then never patch it! maybe even save the installation folder to an external hard drive for safe keeping.

You should also be able to download the installer from steam. I know they have SoD.

The version available on Steam is not SoD anymore, it is Underfoot.
