and i get the message box flash up saying

The name 'C:\ProgramFiles\Everquest\eqgame.exe' Specified in the Target box is not Valid

Make sure the path and file name are correct?

I had not problem using the same method with windows xp pro

If this

"C:\Program Files (x86)\Sony\EverQuest\EverQuest.exe"

was the original file path then

"C:\Program Files (x86)\Sony\EverQuest\eqgame.exe" patchme

will be the new file path.
