Default Locking Zones?

Hi,

i was wondering how i can remap zone connections, or for example lock pok books in the database. im decent at mysql, so just some hint for tables would be just fine. in the table zone there doesnt seem to exist anything that can help me with this issue.

I locked POK books by setting POK to a high gm status level, such as 200. Anything over 20 would work, as the 20 is default for all characters.

In your Zones table, change "min_status" to 20+. If someone with inadequate status clicks on the book after this change, they will be succored to 0,0,0 in their current zone, and be told that they lack the status to continue with their action (or something along that line)

1. you can lock the zone itself: go to zones table, and set req level for the zone to like 100, or set status req to like 250 (GM only)

2. you can disable the the books, but its much more tiresome, as each book, is a click door in a doors table, for corresponding zone

The zone_points table will let you control normal zone lines. Only change the target_zone_id, target_x, target_y, target_z, and target_heading.
