Also note that if you pick a custom server to play on, generally the list of custom zones is considerably less than the full list of zones available on Live EQ. You may still have access to the non-custom zones (depending on the server), but in most cases your best bet is to play in the custom zones. This means that even though the populations are smaller, it isn't quite as empty as it may seem just based on total server population.
