If the custom files like the zone _chr.txt files aren't going to be provided anywhere (as needed in PoGrowth for example), you may want to consider doing a quick swipe through the zones to make sure there is nothing that isn't available to each particular custom zone.

I popped on for a bit and noticed my 6 year old character is still there lol.

I noticed factions aren't working, which I assume is due to one of the more recent faction changes and probably some missing SQL (seen those issues reported recently anyway).

Also, if spells aren't scribing or working or whatever, it may be that the spell file still needs to be imported into the DB.

Either way, it looks like there would be quite a bit of work before anyone should consider working on new content there. All of the zones will need to be rebalanced for the combat code changes through the years. Since the old Zeb website is gone, there is no good place to reference for figuring out what to do, where to go, or how to get there. Shortly before Jibba gave up on the server, I remember him doing some zone connecting thing that links all of his custom zones together into a custom connected world. Without a map of this, it would be pretty tough to know how to get around.

a Few things ive Noticed
1. Skill Ups are Very slow ,
2. Acruacy is poorish My warrior missed 12 hits in a row
3. Theres Still Corpse Retrivial? This intended?
4. Buying Pet Items from NPC = Crash.
5. /ooc reported buying the Nexus Gate item Crashed the Character
6. scrap above 2 , Seems as if ,m BUYing ANYTHING from a npc in nexus , Crashes you.

Will Update as a i find things
Due to 2+3 and 6 ,. My mage has got to be scraped now : , i cant retrive his body :(

I keep crashing when I try to buy any items from merchants in Nexus. Also I have crashed for no reason while I was in the Field of Bone zone and can not log back into my char. When I try to log into him it just freezes up.

Gonna try and fix the items today, as well as the accuracy/corpse stuff. Not sure why you guys would be crashing on buying items but I will look into it.

Can you try logging into the character again? I just am about to do a reboot, I have a feeling it's related to one of his items.

edit: just logged on the box today and saw a lot of asserts. Gonna recompile without them, lol

Server is back up. I confirmed the ability to purchase items from the Nexus. Please report any more issues.

*Corpse runs disabled.
*Skillups increased by a rate of 200%.
*Items should no longer crash you or the zone.
*When zones crash, they should no longer hang until closed manually.
