Could not Reach webserver error

[Monstrosity]

I am getting a message this morning when running my launcher, "Loading server list...Error while retrieving newest version. Trying again in 10 seconds." Nothing happens. I just played yesterday. At the top it says EQEmulauncher 1.24

I have connectivity obviously I am posting on this board. So I am not sure what is up with launcher or how to fix it.

The only thing I can think of is I tried to install MQ2 (unsuccessfully yesterday) and then removed it, but I didnt mess with anything in the EQ folder. And I played since then yesterday so I don't know whats up.

Im haveing the same problem it started last night but, at that time the forums were down to was hopeing it would have cleared up by this morning.. anyone with anything relevant please post i miss my Eq


think im going to just bypass the patcher
