Default Unable to create a log file

Had to get a new computer.
Running WIndows 7.
When I installed it there is no folder for log files to be made.

I attempt to make a log in game says it is on, yet after camping out there is no eqlog.txt file on my computer.

Is there something I need to change in my eqclient? or should I try to reinstall.

If you installed under Program Files or Program Files (x86) then the files are in a different place, C:\Users\<account name>\AppData\Local\VirtualStore

You should consider moving your EQ directory somewhere else, like C:\EQ to avoid the weirdness the virtualization can cause.

Well I figured out the problem.
Did not know I had to run EQ as administrator to make a log file.
Thanks for info either way.
The folder was where it was supposed to be after I did this.

If you installed it somewhere that doesn't have crazy permissions like I suggested you would not need to run it as administrator. Your choice, but moving it will give you the least potential headaches.
