Two issues I am having

A) EQEmulator offers update to 1.24 and works. However, the program auto deletes itself from hard drive about five minutes later. The solution was to use the Newversion.exe which then downloads the EQEMU file again.
Is this correct/intended?

B) Once I do have the Emulator running and the correct details applied, I select my desired server and click Play. The game starts and upon logging in there are no red or blue servers listed, it's blank.
My 5998 port is forwarded on both TCP and UDP.

I have read other posts similar, but it's always something on their end like typing in 5999 and not 5998.



Furthering that, the guides say to use "host=eqemulator" notice there's no "login" beforehand, however everything the EMU program runs, it changes the host file to read "host=login.eqemulator"
It possibly makes no difference, however obviously the guide is conflicting in that aspect since the default setting for the EMU options menu is "login.eqemulator"
