Disregard previous post. I tore apart the lift and ramp models and didn't find what I was looking for. I was hoping there
was an invisible layer that was acting as a 'step' to ensure the player was actually on the lift, but there went any extra
polygons...

I guess there's an offset that's added to the player z-axis that isn't object-related and is coded into the client.


Back to a workaround...
