Default Patchme method

OK now I need help on how to do this step:

I do not know or cannot find on how to boot everquest using "patchme method"

pls help

go to run in the start menu and browse and click on eqgame then add a space than patchme outside of the parentheses
"c:\everquest\eqgame" patchme i think thats it.

This works for me on win98:

go to start "run" then type in command. It will come up dos. It will probably be on the desktop, just type cd.. to get it down to C:\. Then type cd progra~1 to get to Program Files, then cd everquest, to get to your everquest folder. Then type eqgame.exe patchme. If your folders are differant, like if its in a sony folder, just type in cd <folder name>
