Newbie question about my own server

Ok i got my own server working. Running the 3.13 version of EQEMU all fine.

I need some help/advice now.

All i want to do is play the game solo or with a couple friends.

I cant seem to figure out how to populate the world etc. I made a barbarian warrior and spawned in the Halas area, except its totally empty.

Am i missing a database or something? Ive got the admin program but im clueless as to how i use it

Is there any info, faq, premade databases for populated zones, anything? A link with instructions would be great. Im usually able to get things done myself, but i need a nudge in the right direction...
