If you only get the Flush messages in MYSQL then do this.
1. Run mysql.exe
2. Enter "create database eq \g" (NO QUOTES)
3. There ya go your EQ database has been created. Now just follow the steps in readme.

For EQAdmin load it up then go to prefrence and change you database to "eq" and you enter your username/password etc and save changes and your all set.
