Default Semi-Important Question

In the EQ directory, they have files containing your characters stats, equipment, etc. Now, I'm pretty sure this isn't possible, but is it even remotely possible to transfer your character from one of the EQEmu servers to a regular EQ one by just rewriting the name of the file? I'm not saying that I am going to do this, I'm just wondering. But I mean, due to how its all set up, wouldn't it be a bit hard to pass it as a regular EQ char, if the player doesn't have any non-hacked armor? Or have I been eating too much paint...lol

To my knowledge all the REAL information regarding your character is contained server side.

Those files that have your character name on them only contain such rudementary things such as your friends list, your ignore list, and maybe your UI settings.

So if you had a character named "bob" on EQEMU and made character "bob" on another server the ONLY thing you'd get from copying the file over would be something like your friends list, hardly worth the trouble.

So...no, you can't, all REAL information that actually relates to your character (gear, level, stats etc) is stored serverside.
