Default out of range bug

I've been levelling up a shaman from 1 to 35 now, and the eqemu server is coming around real nicely, however there is this little thing that happens every now and then that REALLY bugs me. I've checked around in the forums and I haven't really seen many people mention it, but often when I'm pretty far away from a mob and I'm about to cast a spell I get the 'Your out of range (2)' and then it freezes up the whole interface, so in order to be able to cast spells and such you have to either zone or camp. I'm not sure why this occurs, because I get the regular 'Your target is out of range' messages most of the times. I was thinking that the error occurs when the server doesn't know whether to use the the regular 'out of range' message or that your in-range (so you can cast the spell). Anyone else getting this bug too?

I've run into this myself, I -believe- it is due to trying to cast on one of those mobs that looks like it's stuck in the wall. Those mobs aren't actually there, they might be halfway across the zone but due to their Z being off they popup in a wall. If you cast on those mobs you get the problem you are seeing.

I could be completey whacked, but thats what I've been able to figure out.
