Default Having problems getting mobs to aggro, plz advise....

Hi,

I am a serverOP using compiles from 5/5 CVS and drawdes DB with telmets npcs meshed in.

mobai=6

i am using a level 1 character in west freeport with GMflag=off

Even thou the various mobs have different cons, even the ones that scowl at me will not attack me if i sit in there lap???


Any suggestions??

I can't remember if this is still the case, but trying using an account (not a character) that is not GM certified. Basically, you need a playing account, and a GM account.

thanks for prompy reply, i tried wiping chars and accounts then making new char.. still would not aggro..

So you made 2 accounts (2 login names and passwords) separately and they still won't get aggro? If that's the case, try other zones.

i created another account (0 status) and same thing, and i tried in multiple zones.....

Thanks for all the replys,

My solution was that i cleaned up my database some, and i went in and rewrote the aggro code for the CVS build i was using cause i couldnt figure out how to fix it. I posted the code in development if anyone is interested. aggro works fine on mobs with faction now.
