Cell phone is a requirement, but home phone really isn't... I'm only at home for about 2 or 3 hours every day. Without a cell phone, I may as well not have a phone; nobody wants to call me an hour before I go to sleep, especially college professors, boss, family. I spend more time in the car every day than I do at home (not counting sleep). My roommate needs the home phone, and I use it when I'm home - I only pay half of that. Home phone is the luxury for me.
