Got a couples questions ..

Installed this Emu yesterday, sounded very interesting.
Everything worked fine at first for the installation, I had no problems with the database or any of the modification of the files.

First problem I encountered was when clicking on the connect button after entering my user/pass gotten from url 403, I coudnt log in was saying version mistmach ...
I was however able to open wolrd .exe and the rest np


Then I realised I was using 2.3 and it was saying on the main page that it wasnt working ... Ok downloaded the pre 2.4 version, extracted it over 2.3 , went to reinstalled the DB but got an error it was already installed, ok thats cool.

Went to log at the login screen and it was saying to update that I had the wrong version, tried updating again but I was patched up to date ... Then I saw a post regarding changing 5999 to 5997 in the port. Worked fine when I did and I got to the wolrd servers.

There I saw Gotfrags and the others. When I tried to click on one of the servers tho I get an error from eqgame.exe . it says the application will now close :/

I then realised I hadn't open up the world.exe and zone up .... But when Itried to open world now it says Incorrect Version


So i'am a bit confused here, am I missing some files or somethin ?
If anyone could point me to the right direction it would be appreciated or a link to a similar thread.
