permissions fix?

The permissions fix is not a patch. Go into MySQL (C:\mysql\bin\mysql.exe) and type the following:

GRANT ALL ON (name of your database).* TO 'yourmysqlusername'@'localhost' IDENTIFIED BY 'yourmysqlpassword WITH GRANT OPTION;

Now, if you get access denied when you try to do this, go into MSDOS (cmd or command in Run), go to your MySQL dir (uasually C:\mysql\bin) and type

mysql -u root

and then type the GRANT ALL ON... thing. If you already set a root password (by default it is blank), type in MSDOS:

mysql -u root -p(rootpasswd)

Hope this helps - MySQL can be a pain to work with if you dont know how to use it . I would recommed buying a book on MySQL. It helps to know it to run a server (And it works great with PHP too)
