Server question

Are there any good Legit servers (servers where you work for items instead of summoning) or any servers with quests up yet?
Just wondering (please don't flame/spam/be mean to me)
I'm new to EQEmu by the way...

I'd like to know that too, I think that warping items and all is kind of lame.

But, they did work on it, and it payed off.

Yea, I like Good Old Questing for stuff, Hunting down Mobs and slaughtering them all over and over looking for a specific item.
It's half the fun!

Ok. Do you know when guildwars will be up? I'm not trying to break any rules if i am breaking them, i'm jus curious because i'm leaving for Boot Camp in about 15 days.

All servers running the newest patch should show up when log on right? Dun wanna be missing anything :lol:

If you're using the right eqhost, and a server is up on the list it should. All the ones running 5.0 dr3 you'll be able to play with latest patch, but be warned, it's a dev release, not mean't to be played but to be tested on.

Oh so that explains that when you're trying to fight you keep missing even though you have 252 skills in everything. And when they "scoot" towards you (when you run) instead of running!

Oh well, the devs are doing a great job. Keep up the good work!

Obviously someones never played EQ pre-Kunark.. When did you start? Pre-Kunark is so much better... Ok so it doesnt have all those uber items that with, your character still cant solo a blue on EQlive.. I prefer pre-Kunark my self, but I could just be old.

Pre Kunark rocked. That's why we, and other people have attempted and did make old world databases for people who wanted to run servers with old school stuff.

I really enjoyed pre-kunark. The huge naggy raids, and PoF/PoH pathing. Not to mention Mistmoore pathing, one could have real fun in Mistmoore if one knew how.

Still, Kunark was a nice addition. I was very pleased when it came out... excpet when I was killed by an invisible giant sarnak in Firiona Vie which the guards wouldn't touch, the first time I went there, before I got a bind. I tell you, if I hadn't been bound in Gfay I'd have been pissed.

On EQLive, Old-World is where I always was, but for a different reason. My computer sucks. Old World looks just as good as SoL/PoP/LoY/LDoN, only it takes about 1/4 the resources. SoL is still a constant grip for me. The whole expansion's zones look worse than old world, and take 5x the resources. It's just stupid.
