Ive been having the same problem. The funny thing is, when I use eqw 2.2, I dont have any problems. Try using eqw and see if that resolves it. I hate playing in the window, but its the only thing thats worked with me so far. Ive had this problem with all the machines I have on my network Ive tried to play from, so it must be some type of general connectivity issue, but why it would be related to using 'eqw2.2' versus 'eqgame patchme' is beyond me.
