Thanks for your sensile reply, arkaria.
I did appreciate and consider your point. It is true that I didn't try to consult a GM/necro/bard to find my corpse, but believe me, my whole group spent almost 30 minutes in total searching for my corpse. And please consider the frustration factor: normally I simply would not have the time any more to play EQ. On a work-free day I try it again and the factor of invested time to actual played time was simply weak (3 hours to about 10 minutes); I get to the conclusion that EQ live simply isn't woth the money for me any more.
Dont get me wrong! I did enjoy playing EQ for a long tme. But now that I work for up to 11 hours a day, it simply isn't worth it any more. I would expect to log in, find a group after about 30 minutes and play for a few hours.
It's just that I keep thinking that I could have done something much more useful in those 3 1/2 hours (of which I spent 10 mins of playing). And the thought of actually paying money for this makes my hair go stiff.
Maybe I'm wrong blaming Sony for this. It's just that I liked EQ so much when I had much more time on my hands. Maybe I was just having bad luck when trying it again for the first time in a few months. Perhaps this whole discussion should be about EQ in general rather than my particular case. More opinions are very much appreciated!
One more thing: English isn't my native language, so please be patient with me about spelling/grammar. I'm just typing as it comes to my mind.
