Thank you all for your help and Matt for your patience. I now have it up and running without a hitch... havent explored yet to find out what crashes I will have but I can at least log on and create a char and then enter world... went to 3 zones <by foot> and so far so good...... Thank you.. Im going to dabble a bit and try and figure out how to do some more crap <read try and learn some more>. When i feel I have a grasp on a tidbit of info, I will try and give back and help others....
P.S. By the way the one post that helped me the most, and fixed the issue really didint have to do with my problem... just hours of sitting here reading <blagggg!> and it was this:
All settings were correct, exept in my loginserver.ini I tried using my external ip, and my internal ip, AND localhost, but what fixed the whole damned problem <besides sourcing in a different db, meaning the connection issue>, was changing the worldaddress to 127.0.0.1................ so for all you getting the problem I was having, less the db issue, try that... woot..
