Well, Im sorry but this isnt an excuse. Im not here to flame you for saying this as it IS a free country (mostly). But there ARE other ways to backup Eq without using up hard drive space.. You cant tell me with the low cost nowadays, that you dont have access to a cd burner of some sort... Well, just take a cd-rw and burn a copy of the newest version of eq that you KNOW works. Then when you patch again, like on the 10th, when you find that it breaks the emu, just delete taht directory and pull out your handy dandy cd-rw and write it back to hard drive and there you go.. Now when you find that a patch IS working and you READ the forums and find it safe, patch, and re-write that version to your cd-rw.

I dont think the problem we have on this board is due to illiteracy, most people are probably very smart in their own right. It is due to sheer laziness.. Let me repeat that... Laziness......! The saying goes, "No pain, no gain". and while there is no actual physical pain, you might have a headache from using your head once in a while...
