I may as well take a second to get some opinions about the server ive been working on.
I'm working on a (mostly) non legit PvP server. I plan on adding an entire new set of epic quests / weapons, along with tons of new gear.
the only problem im having is that i want to get rid of the unwritten law that says melees (particularly warriors and rangers) are the gods of eqemu.
i very much want to see casters getting into the fray but as near as i can tell that would only get slaughtered.
so far the only simple solution i can think would be to make custom caster gear with big AC, but i'm not sure that wouold be the way to go ...
i need some ideas that would help me get some balance ghoing .. without having to go into the DB and nerf every hard hitting, fast slashing, caster bowing weapons that melees love so much ...
