Default Error 0016
I try to login and it says: "error 0016, wrong password and/or login name". what is wrong. thanks!

Im going to bet that it says "Error 0016:The station name or password were invalid,please check and try again"... Which means you are trying to connect to SOE NOT EQEMu. Correct your eqhost.txt and/or make sure your shortcut to EQEMu is correct, according to the Play on EQEMu guide in tutorials and howtos forum...

Default Similar Error
Hi!
I try to login the server with the eqgame.exe (patchme), my eqhost is correct but when I login I see the message ERROR 0016 The Station name or Password were invalid. Please check and try again. Note the password is case - sensitive ...
Before asking this I've read the guide of how to play in EQEMU, the error guide and the newbies guide but i don't have any clue on what I could be doing wrong ...
Could anyone please help me?

If the error message has the phrase "Station Name" in it, then you are connecting to Sony's EQLive. The Emu login server never gives an error that has the phrase "Station Name" in it.

Ok I am having trouble logging in.

When I type my EQemu forum name/pass it says: EQEMu Error: Bad username/password.

What am I doing wrong?

I did everything as it was listed in the Play Guide, and I still get the 0016 error message about Station Name and password.
