Kicks back to server when selecting character
Just got back into the game after months being away. Recreated account fron scratch, patched all the way up from EQ servers, I can see the EQEMU servers just fine and create characters, but when I try to play a character, it kicks back out to the server select screen. Have tried the 0.5.7 servers and thats what happens, try any other version and I get that 1017 or somthing like that, but it's not suprising since I imagine that the version I am patched to has a lot to do with it.
So, got two questions:
1.) did I make a "mistake" by patching all the way up and now have to wait for EQEMU to catch up?
2.) if #1 (above) is the problem, is there not a way to "unpatch" and go back to a previous version that is playable, and, if so, how can I do it?
