Basically the server starts out with at least 35 zones available, and ends up at approx. 10-14 after a few hours. Some bug is causing zone server authorization to fail, and it shuts down.

Try making a character who's start location is kelethin...that zone is always up and running. I just started playing yesterday and had problems in certain zones but some zones are working just fine. I'd ask the others playing once you log on which zones are working or do a "/who all" to see where people are. I currently have a lvl 15 bard stuck in paludal caverns and a lvl 15 druid stuck in the oasis of marr. I was able to zone there when there weren't to many players on the server and since then haven't been able log back on with them...keeps telling me the zone is not available. So I guess another piece of advice would be to always zone back to kelethin before you log...hehe.
Hat's off to you bUsh for running a great server though. Only suggestion I'd make to allow zoning to be a bit easier is to let anyone use the #zonestatus command so we all could see which zones are up and running. Thanks for doing such a great job.
