Oh for the love of.....

[LoginServer]
Host=eqemulator.net:5995

Click next to [LoginServer] and delete any spaces.

Do the same for Host=eqemulator.net:5995.

Then save it and make it read only.

I have changed the eqhost.txt and made it read only and also loaded the eqlsClient into the EQ folder to replace the old one but When I try to run eqgame.exe it brings up a window saying "please run EverQuest.exe" using this sends me to sony and forces me to upload the patch which attempts to replace the host.txt and client. Am I overlooking something?
Thanks in advance for any replies. It would be cool to be able to play EQ after not playing for years.

Yah, Patch, then set ur eqhost.txt back, eqclient should be fine, unless ur makeing new accnt.
but if u have an account already, just patch to live, which currently makes it so u cant play. Screwed up the stuff again. SOE i heard is gunna do regular patch's just to screw over eqemu.

Default Stuck at "logging in to the server. Please wait....&quo

Patched completely up to 6/22/04 followed directions to get setup, I can get to the EQEMU login screen, but when I type my password and username in and hit enter the game is stuck at "logging in to the server. Please wait....". It's not even frozen, it shows up as running when I ctrl-alt-delete, just don't know what to do to fix this. Any help on getting past "Logging in to the server. Please wait...."?

I've been trying now for couple hours to solve the problem, haven't had any luck yet. Not sure whether or not it's their problem or something I've done wrong in setup. Been reading up on recent problems and people were complaining about June 16th EQ patch, so perhaps that has something to do with this.

Alright...

When I put in my password and username and hit login...

It goes to the Loading please wait box, but it just sits there at that...

Does it take a long time or am I doing something wrong???

Default Does it take time for new accounts to work?

I just registered a new account and its hanging at login. Is there a delay before a new account will work?
