DATA RATE QUESTIONS
OKAY.... Just want to know rational behind raising or lowering data rate. Can anyone tell me purpose behind going either way. Many people have told me to lower it. Others like EQMU help center say raise it.
Change your Data Rate
NOTE: This section is still being investigated
Open Notepad: Click Start -> Programs -> Accessories -> Notepad
Inside of Notepad, Click File -> Open
Navigate to your EQ directory (Typically c:\program files\everquest)
Open the file DataRate.txt
REPLACE everything in the file with the following:
8.0
Save the file
