Heyo All i got sick of the i can't get it to work blah blah blah so i ziped my Eqhost.txt for everyone to use it works seeing as i use it now lol anyways here u go http://www.geocities.com/eqhostfile/Eqhost.zip

Yes i know about that but ppl copy it wrong forget to put it as read only and its a little hard to DL a txt file if your a N00B

But it(frontpage) says, TO SERVER ADMINS ONLY: ....
then says, This is only for the people who patched to eqlive, not for you guys still playing on older servers that havent patched yet.


Anyways, now I've patched to live (in my backup directory too) and it hangs at login so i use an old eqmain.dll, then with that method, it tells me it can't find eqhost.txt even though it's there. Now when I use the older format of eqhost.txt it wont let me connect. So I'm a noob, just help me out if u can please.

That message you are referring to was for server admins and also was for the last patch, not the latest one. And hat one dll is not a magic fix, it works for 5% of the people but to be compatible you need all the old dlls and exes.
