Q :What exactly as far as expansions do you need to run EQemu? Just the original Everquest or what?

Q: Which zones are in emu?

Is it done that you can just play whatever expansions you have in this as on eqlive? Sorry for the maybe dumb questions, but I dont' have a whole lot of MMO experiance, especially as far as servers

one more question..

Q: What kind of power does running a mmo server suck from a comp? What kind of bandwidth requirements can I be expecting? How about CPU?
As long as you have the zone files for the zone your trying to get into installed, you can get into it.

You can go to Any Zone in the emulator. However, whether the zone has NPC's In it is dependant on the database you are running.

An emu server takes CPU Depending on how many people you have on and what they are doing. Bandwidth is also affected by this. If you have 2 people on just standing in front of eachother, you can be looking at taking no more than 5% CPU and about 5kbs bandwidth. If you have 20 people on all attacking a mob in the same zone, you can be looking at a lot of CPU Depending on the kind of computer your running, and about 100kbs bandwidth.

Also, RAM Takes a big factor in this. the more ram you have the better it will run. You should have no less than 512 MB of Ram. Most decent servers have 1 GB of Ram or more.
