Default Spawning

I'm having troubles with the #spawn command. Even in the correct zones all I get is the default bald and ugly human male. I'm fairly certain that I'm entering in the command correctly, as the mobs I spawn make the noises they are supposed to (fairies jingly and spectres.... flap) but not the correct image. Also, using the admin tool when I change my race to something like fairy, while I'm in Gfay, I get the jingles but not the graphics. Any help with this is greatly appreciated.

Make sure you set the gender to 2 for most NPCs.

Still no luck:( . Here's an example of what I type, this is for Tunare in the Plane of Growth.

#spawn Tunare 62 60 - 9999 2 4 11050

Looks like you are leaving out the sex, I think.

#spawn [firstname] [lastname or null] [race] [gender] [class] [level] [hp] [weapon code]

So Tunare would be:

#spawn Tunare (null) 62 2 1 1 1 1

Also, that weapon code of 11050, I think what you have there is the item number, instead of a weapon code? Actually, the weapon codes go from 0-255, and represent only the graphics, not what they are using, I believe.

Rockhopper, that's the old #spawn command.. new one is like this:

#spawn name [race] [level] [material/texture] [hp] [gender] [class] [weaponnumber]

It looks like the engine doesn't like to make decisions about the texture.. try setting it to 0 manually and see if that clears it up.. It really should work; I've had Tunare standing inside her tree before with no probs at all.

Well, it's still not working. I've tried everything I can think of and still no luck. I downloaded that spawning thing and installed it (posted by Drawde(?)) and all of those spawns appear just fine... so I'm at a loss of what to do...

I run: #spawn Tunare (null) 62 2 1 1 1 1
and she pops up just fine

I was palying with Vox, ect. with those same params.

Are you getting any errors in zone.exe or world.exe?
