Default -patchme shortuct problems

i try to run the shortcut i was supposed to make, and all it says is please run everquest. what am i doing wrong?

Your NOT doing something right.. here is how it should look when you right click on the shortcut on your desktop, then left click on properties...(in the line that reads "Target"):

"C:\Program Files\Everquest\eqgame.exe" patchme
Unless you have it saved to a different directory, in which case you would put in the path of it followed by patchme without the "-" (hyphen).....

i need more help, i got into a server, made a character, tried to enter the world. it showed the traditional window then it went black. http://www.eqemulator.net/newaccount.php i also accidentally skipped this step but i can still log in but i can't register.

Change your eqhost.txt file to read port number 5994 instead of 5996.. Those servers no longer require that you reset your authorization.....
