is there a way to setup your ownlogin with out going threw emulogin like for a lan test or somthing

No, it was called minilogin a while ago, but it is no longer functional with the current versions of EQEmu....

there is a 5.7dr6 compatible minilogin but your client can not have been updates since around June of 2004... if you have access to client around this date then you could work it otherwise your out of luck until somebody updates the Mini-Login to the new crypto.. I would love to but dont have the level of knowledge yet to complete it.

This seems to be a pretty common request. I hope someone can work on it soon too, as I would love it too but I myself only know VB and don't know crap about network sockets etc.

Besides, EQEMu uses C++ anyway.
