Default Dungeon Builder 1.3

A few more changes that should help:

1. Made it easier to snap corridors to rooms and other corridors.

2. Fixed a bug where dragging a room might not correctly drag all connected corridors with it.

3. In the dialog for setting textures for the entire dungeon, textures for rooms and corridors can now be set separately.

4. You can zoom in and out with the mouse wheel.

5. If you have two corridors whose ends are connected together, you can move both ends at the same time by holding down the Ctrl key.

You can get it here: http://sourceforge.net/project/showf...ckage_id=34673

Enjoy,

WC

Edit: Okay, I fixed the bug in selecting objects and put the ZIP back up. I also added feature #5.

Grrr. Had to squash another bug in moving multiple objects. The ZIP file as of 4:25pm EDT should be good. If you already downloaded it you should re-download it now.

I know this is a pain, but for good measure I fixed the bug people are seeing when they move things up and down and the object starts out above or below its original position. I uploaded the fix at 5:07pm EDT so I figure it should be available on the mirrors around 6pm.

Hmm, getting an error when trying to open up a dungeon I created tonight. It saved fine but now when I try to reopen it I get "Parser Error" message.

Hmmm. I didn't touch that code. Can you post it somewhere so I can test it?

http://home.earthlink.net/~kcv11281/kandros.dbx

Let me know if that doesn't work.

Edit: General info on the dungeon is that it had some rooms lowered by 5 or so notches and one that was raised by I believe 16. Not sure if maybe that's the cause of it or not though.

You're *really* not going to like the answer :(

It looks like you exported a 3ds over your dungon builder file. This is really a .3ds file and I was able to open it with OpenZone. If you open it with Notepad you'll see that it's a binary file. If you open any of the other .dbx files that came with Dungeon Builder you'll see what a .dbx file is supposed to look like.

I just whacked DB 1.3 and re-uploaded it with a small change to keep this from happening again. It looks like you might have done a "save as" to save your dungeon and then done an export to s3d and just hit enter. The version I just uploaded will *always* blank out the file name when the save dialog appears so you can't mistakenly overwrite your dbx file when you export.
