Help me chose a good server plz

S'up all, i'm trying to find a good and stable server.
most of the ones i've been on are either laggy as heck and always seem to zone drop everyone. Does anyone have any ideas?? not that all servers are perfect.

I've had a few people tell me that the server I helped create (Westwind) is very stable...runs on a higher-end machine with a constant T1 connection...give it a shot.

Then again, it might suck just as bad...*shrugs*...

none of the servers are really reliable or anything. In my opinion the best one is Jabba cuz Mellatoth really knows what he is doing he has some awesome zones spawned and working properly like Sleepers, VP, DN, and ssra. He workin on acrylia and VT I believe, and his server doesnt crash you as much as the other servers.

Its alot better than the green servers which seem to never work.

Jabba does seem like it would be a good and stable server...so far I've spent my time on Moonwhisper. I think most of the zones are set up well (sleepers for one, but because I've only been on for about 3 days I havn't had the chance to really explore it all

). Although DN doesn't seem to be up =/ So tonight I think I'll find myself over on Jabba, give it a shot.

Woohoo... someone was on my Server (Moonwhisper).

DN not up? Do you mean you can't access DN or that it is unpopulated?

And hey... you was on for 3 Days? Moonwhisper is on for 4 Days now so you are almost as old as Moonwhisper itself.

Btw. i still need Feedback from the Players (which Zones are proper accessible and so on)...

Jabba is a great server! Currently, though, Mella has been having problems with the lag, other than that, alot of zones are popped (and growing!) and we -almost- always have a Staff member on, so it's easy to get in contact if you need skills and stuff...

I like Underworld too, to an extent...

I like pvp servers, and the role-playing view of Underworld, but in my opinion (not a burn or anything, just my opinion) I find the staff members never on to give people skills... Other than that, it's another good server...

Jabba, though, has -the- best staff members of any server! Especially that (/self gratitude on) Poison (/self gratitude off) fellow, he's an awesome GM and pretty cool with everyone ^_~

How would I connect to one of your servers? the pvp one?

Im still confused on how to connect to someone elses server

Thanks for the koodos Syntax. I'ma guide on the Jabba server and Syntax is correct that USUALLY theres at least 1 GM person online that can help you get soem levels and skills. We also have numerous guides, myself included, that can assist the GM's with GM events and such. We almost always have one of those, and they tend to be quite challenging, for myself as well! I got killed by my own spawned creation the other day! Doh! Anyway, if that doesnt satisfy you, once you do get ur lvls and ur done exploring, u can always go pay the sleeper visit, hes popped and hes got some VERY nifty loot. So feel free to drop by and we hope you have a good time!

Well once my server is done developing and testing it should work very well. I'm using 2 different computers and internet connections with a friend to split up the work. We believe this will make it run faster. Also our server does the best it can to keep its db up to the latest and fullest spawnable world, trying to get as close as possible to actual eq for free. We also may have an upcoming opportunity to move the server onto a T1 phone line for free. Hope you like our server when its fully operational!
