Thumbs down OK Need some assistance here
I am trying to get emu set up and I went to create an actual emu account, not a forum account and the link to do this is down, as are a LOT of the links. Is there something thats been changed in the setting the emu up area that I need to know?

Kinda confused by this.
If this is covered somewhere and I have just missed it, link it for me please.

Thank You. I still need to find the info concerning where to get the files for emu themselves. The link I used is down.

Is the emu still as easy as changing the eqhost file and saving it?

If you have the correct client version then it's as easy as changing the eqhost.txt and saving it.

If you like you can right click this link: http://www.eqemulator.net/eqhost.txt
select "Save Target As" and save it over your existing eqhost.txt.

If you don't have the correct client files we cannot assist you in any way with obtaining them. Doing so gets you and me both banned.

k thanks, Ill do the latest client I assmume thats the right one. Wonder without patching live what Ill be loosing in extras?

not the latest client!

that one won't work with eqemu.

The version eqemu is working with is the one during the first half of December (prior to the 12/15 patch). If you don't have that one, then you won't be compatible with eqemu at this time.
