connecting?

hey all.
after having been playing ultima online off and on since 1995 and quitting this week, i thought about eq. i wondered if there were any free servers like that in uo. i did a search and this is the only one (or w/e) that I could find. anyways, i signed up, installed all my eq's, created the account, launched it, signed in.. and the game crashes every time. not to mention i couldn't patch. is there somethign that im doing that is wrong? or was this thing shut down as well? id really like to play because i really miss eq. any help is appreciated.

Sorry..You missed the boat!
You to have patched before 5/11/2005 in order for EMU to work.
Save what you have so far and keep coming back to this sight and reading posts. When the EMU becomes compatible(with live) again, most likely you will read about it first before the red Do Not Patch sign is removed.
Then try to play and if you have everything right it will work for ya.
No one knows when this will be so the best is to keep reading the forums.

damn. is there anyway to send someone the patches? or are there any other free servers out there i can play in the meantime that you or anyone knows of?

You are not allowed to ask or talk about patches on this site.
The Idea is..To keep it legal.Keep it live compatible.
All I can say is..Roam the internet.
