Default Works but annoying...

This is not a real problem, just annoying and wondered if anyone else experiences it. Using the latest 6.4 emu, I get to the server select screen and hit enter and it hangs until times out and kicks back to login screen. I then have to exit completely out of EQ, just the game, not the Emu, and get back in and it goes into game fine. It does that every time like clockwork. Just slow connecting to server or something? That's using mysql 4.0.2.1 and perl 5.8.4 and PEQ RC1 Velious.

Again not a big deal because it does work, just wonder if anyone else has had this happen.

I haven't had this problem. I just installed everything yesterday from scratch using the wiki doc and 6.4. My server is flyin and runs smooth. Perhaps some more details about the errors you are getting and I will see if I can assist.

I get that problem every once and a while if I try to hop on the server right after it was brought up. If I back off and give it a few seconds, it lets me in the first time.

BTW, think it is that I'm trying to get in too fast. Giving it a sec may be what it needs.
